Ken Koskella is a successful businessman who retired at a relatively young age. When he was in high school he did many plays, skits and monologues. He took a break from the performing arts to become a very successful business executive. After retirement, he took some acting classes, did some voice over work and decided he wanted to do stand-up. He has spent the last ten years honing his act by writing and performing at open mics, showcases, comedy clubs and many private benefit shows. Ken has been successfully in recovery for over forty years. He has done many shows associated with “recovery” functions. Ken’s humor is not directly about recovery but about his life in general.
Ken was the Winner of the San Diego Comedy Competition. Winner of the Avalon Comedy Competition. A finalist in the Rooster T Feathers Comedy Competition, and semi-finalist in the San Francisco International Comedy Competition. He was featured on the TV show “Stand-up” it’s Thursday Night. Ken is now performing at comedy at clubs, benefit shows, special events and corporations as well as writing, with Dave Burleigh, a two man show for the theater called “The Generation Gap.” Ken is the Producer of and performs in “The Suburban Comedy Tour” He is unique to the comedy scene. He has been called “a tanned, dapper Rodney Dangerfield” by the Oakland Tribune. I saw him perform and laughed so hard my sides hurt. You really have to see this guy.”
