With over 700 shows under his belt, Reese has headlined and performed his smart yet grounded stand-up comedy across the United States including New York City, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, San Francisco, Oakland, Virginia and New Jersey at famed comedy clubs including Caroline’s (NYC), Gotham Comedy Club (NYC), the Laugh Factory (NYC), the Improv (LA) and The Comedy Store (LA). In April 2008, Reese won the annual Caroline’s March Madness Comedy Competition, where he outwitted 63 other comedians over four weeks. His television appearances include Good Morning America and BET-J’s My Two Cents and he has been featured on National Public Radio.
Throughout his college years, Reese performed anywhere and everywhere he could, from amateur nights and open mikes at underground New York City comedy clubs to impromptu performances in dormitory lounges. The apex of his college career came during his junior year, when he was selected to appear on Good Morning America as a part of their “Up All Night” campaign.
After two years of experimentation in the Bay area, Reese returned to New York rejuvenated and refreshed, as lease breakers generally do. He hit the ground running and found regular stage time at The Underground and New York Comedy Club. His talent was spotted and he has since been invited to do numerous shows at New York’s famous Caroline’s and Gotham Comedy Club and has booked shows in other cities around the US. Also a writer, he writes regularly for AM New York.
